i got a "speeding ticket" by going 50 on the street. i know i wasn’t going 50 so after showing insurance and stuff i asked the cop to show me the radar gun. he said ok but never did. i want to fight this ticket but i don’t think i will win because its his word against mine. but i heard that they cant give you a ticket using the radar gun unless there is a sign posted somewhere saying radar enforced or something. Is that true? I always see the cops in motorcycles on that street all the time and ive never seen a sign. and by the way this is in california.

Well, I was not really paying attention and I was supposibly going 85 in a 50mph zone..Even I was shocked when the cop on the motorcycle told me how fast I was going, I was about to ask to see his radar gun but I didnt, I think i was only going 73mph or so…Anyways this was my first offence, Im 17 years old, and I recieved a rediculous 6 fine and 6 points off my license…The car is under my parents insurance, so are they stuck with the increase when I buy my own plan or am I? When do the points get removed from my license? I live in Wisconsin if this helps

So last night some low life scumbag broke into my BMW with a brick and stole a Garmin GPS, Valentine One radar detector, Valuable CD’s collection, water bottle and even food. Have you guys ever had these kind of problem. The insurance isn’t going to cover my window since it is only 0 and also I got like more than ,000 stuff stolen. What’s up with people these days?

im thinking of purchasing a police radar detector and jammer(if even possible) to make it to where i will never get a speeding ticket… has anyone ever had one and know if they really work as good as they say they do? also some of my buddies tell me they are a manufacturer that sells them that offers a plan to where if u do get a ticket while using their product they will pay for ur ticket… is that true? im sort of spectacle because i tryed shopping for them on my own and i seen how they would list out what all things they pick up but i dont know what the police use around here so i cant go by that… i just need something that will guarantee i wont get caught for speeding ever again
also how do they work for u? if they tell u when one is within range wouldnt that mean it would already be too late? if they were in range that is…. im just skeptical of the whole thing… i want one and i would rather spend a few hundred on one to save me from tickets and higher insurance… idk just what would be the process? when u get the alert slow the hell down?
ohh and for people like shnoel or whatever her name was… screw emmissions… i dont care about that crap… when im late for work or school im gonna go fast… when im not late… im still gonna be goin fast but not too fast… atleast im not driving a hummer… so if ur like the person i mentioned above… go to another save the environment protest and leave me alone if u have nothing to input about radar jammers and detectors… with tickets like… 83 in a 35 and 124 in a 70…. i cant hardly afford my insurance i need something pretty bad
